If you already pay for NOW in the UK, you've probably run into the gap: the UK Sports Membership gives you every Sky Sports channel, but not a single minute of TNT Sports or Premier Sports. That's the Premier League, the Champions League, the United Rugby Championship, UFC, MLB and cricket, all sitting on one add-on you can't get from NOW UK at any price. It's called NOW Sports Extra, and NOW only sells it through NOW Ireland.

Once your connection looks like it's coming from Ireland, NOW Ireland works exactly as it would for someone sitting in Dublin: same app, same sign-in, same channels.
NOW Ireland is NOW's own standalone service for the Republic of Ireland: same company, same branding, same familiar app as NOW in the UK. But past the name and the logo, the two barely overlap. Different subscription, different account, priced in euros, with its own line-up of channels. Try logging into NOW Ireland with your NOW UK details, or the other way round, and it just won't let you in. If it's actually the UK service you're after, here's how to watch NOW outside the UK.
Signing up for NOW Ireland only takes a few minutes, and it accepts the payment cards most people already carry (Mastercard, Visa, PayPal). The account itself is the easy part. It's the channels that get fussy about where you're watching from, and only once you leave Ireland.
If TNT Sports and Premier Sports are why you're here, NOW Sports Extra is the one to get: it's the only place they live under the NOW brand, and on the current 12-month offer it's also the cheapest way in. All in, that's about €20.60 a month: €17 to NOW + €3.60 to StreamLocator. Fancy Sky Sports in the mix too? One thing worth clearing up: NOW's Sports Extra isn't the Sky-branded Sports Extra you might already know from the UK. Same name, completely different pass, and this one's NOW Ireland's, carrying TNT Sports and Premier Sports.
Beyond sport, NOW Ireland carries the entertainment and cinema NOW's known for too: Sky's own shows and exclusive US hits, HBO's big returning series, the full HBO Max catalogue if you step up a tier, and a deep film library on NOW Cinema.

NOW Ireland's licensing only covers the Republic of Ireland. Step outside that and the service shuts you out, doesn't matter if you're fully paid up and active. It's not a glitch, it's just how the rights are carved up, and it's the exact same story with NOW's UK service blocking anyone outside the UK.
There's one genuine exception, and it's worth being straight about how far it stretches. NOW Ireland lets you stream from most other EU and EEA countries for up to 30 days at a time, as long as your account has an Irish payment card and you've actually used it in Ireland in the last 30 days. Handy for a week in Spain or France. It doesn't cover the UK though: NOW's own guidance says plainly that since the UK left the EU, a NOW Ireland membership can't be streamed there any more. And it won't help with a longer stay anywhere, or with the US, Australia, or anywhere else outside the EU/EEA, which is where most Irish abroad actually end up living.
That's the actual problem: an Irish subscription that works everywhere in Ireland and almost nowhere outside it, with a narrow 30-day EU carve-out that doesn't reach the destinations where most emigrants actually live.
