In spring 2026, Setanta Sports introduced new restrictions to block VPN usage across all major providers.
The change affects services such as ExpressVPN, NordVPN, Surfshark, and others - users are getting kicked out of the stream every 10 minutes.
This happens because Setanta Sports now checks IP location every 10 minutes with a specific call that exposes user's real IP location.
Traditional VPNs did not adapt to resolve this issue.
The only option is to use non-VPN solutions that go around geo-blocks like SmartDNS.
