Fantastic

I have been using the app for a few years now and absolutely love it. I use it in the UK to stream content from the USA and MENA.

I also use it when travelling to watch content from the UK. Great service and never had any problems.

Simple and works

The DNS is absolutely class, just put 2 numbers into your router/streaming device and all of a sudden you can stream your footy and films from across the World.

Literally couldn't be any easier if it tried. And cheap as chips too.

Brilliant product

I've reviewed this service before for the app, but I've since started using the DNS service. I use PCs for my streaming needs. I've set up Edge with the SL DNS for streaming foreign services and it is absolutely excellent.

It's a super flexible system - you can DNS your whole house, a single device, or just a single web browser. I've recommended StreamLocator to friends for many years and they've always been happy with it. The support staff are responsive like nobody else. Brilliant company, brilliant product.

Long time StreamLocator Hub user, but I've now migrated to the app and I'd never go back. Super easy to set up on Android, but the Smart DNS feature is a game changer.

I'm using this on an LG TV and a GLi.Net travel router. Oh and support is fantastic if you ever need it.

Actually good value

Long time StreamLocator app user of 5 years+ and it is rock solid and really easy to use and install. I use it primarily for BBC, Channel 4 and other UK services along with CBC Gem when outside of Canada.

I can only remember it being offline once in the last few years and the issues are alwasy fixed quickly. It is truly the best TV $$$ we spend every month.

I can finally fully access Amazon Prime video services as well as others. I’ve tried several VPN’s without success.

Arrived promptly. Very easy to set up and determine which country servers were needed for specific streams. All of the standard servers for channels sych as iPlayer etc all worked without any need for adjustment. Already recommended to others here in Italy.

Does this hide your IP like a VPN?

No, the StreamLocator app is not a VPN and only helps you unblock geo-restricted streaming services. It will not help you hide from your ISP and does not affect your IP in any way. It takes the the ease of use of VPNs and the speed and reliability of DNS services and combines them into one package that does not require any additional software or complex setup to start watching.

Does StreamLocator let me watch paid streaming services for free?

No, StreamLocator only unblocks geo-restricted content on streaming services you already have an account with. While some services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO and others require a paid subscription, many services StreamLocator supports like BBC iPlayer, ITV, Zattoo and more are completely free to watch!
