How to watch Premier League Live in the UK

Being a massive Football fan living in the UK watching my beloved sport can cost my wallet over a whopping £83 a month. This is because the Premier League tv rights in the UK are split across three different services Sky, BT and Amazon Prime.

Annoyingly that price in the UK doesn’t give you, the customer access to every Premier League live game. Since the 1960s the FA, Premier League and the Football League do not permit English matches to be televised between 14:45 GMT and 17:15 GMT on a Saturday within the United Kingdom. This is very similar to the blackouts that affect major sports in the US and Canada like NFL, NBA, NHL etc. This is down to the fact that it’s believed televised matches on a Saturday afternoon shown within the UK would have a negative effect on the attendances of other football league games that were not being televised and as a result reduce their financial income.

Now if you’re a football fan living in Canada for example these restrictions will not affect you at all. In Canada, the English Premier League live rights and some Football League rights are held by a streaming service called Fubo. Not is Fubo not affected by the 15:00 UK blackouts you can have access to every English Premier League stream for as little as £9.45 ($11.50 USD) a month!

Peacock TV only offers 175 out of 380 premier league games which would mean you’d need to sign up for a USA cable service like FUBO TV or Sling to access every match and this can be very costly. Streams are shown at 720p/50fps offering great smoothness to the streams.

Paramount+

If it’s only Champions League games you're looking for then Paramount+ offers the most cost-effective option for you at £4 a month. Paramount doesn’t offer any access to the English Premier League games so you would need to find an alternative if you’re looking for an all in one package. Paramount+ offers streams at 1080p/60fps for their football streams and offer all matches on demand. They also have a goal rush feature for the Champions League similar to the NFL RedZone so you never miss any action from all the live games shown.

Now if you’re looking for the highest quality package then Fubo Canada is your choice. For £9.45 a month Fubo Canada offers you every English Premier League live game or on demand so you don't miss anything.
