Let’s take this fight head-to-head, and find out exactly where the best streams are to watch all the action from the biggest and best mixed martial arts providers.

UFC – Ultimate Fighting Championship

Possibly the most well-known name in mixed martial arts, the UFC runs weekly fight nights and blockbuster pay-per-view events every month of the year. Synonymous with the names of McGregor, Khabib, and Nunes, the action is vicious, violent and unpredictable, all topped with a huge dose of Hollywood drama and entertainment.

UFC's biggest fights are generally PPV events, with the second-tier events showing on UFC Fight Night. Don’t be fooled by the second-tier moniker. The action is still every bit as action-packed, and the fighters are some of the toughest in the field.

Bellator MMA

Bellator is a leader in MMA with a truly incredible array of fighters. What is Bellator? Well, it’s the Latin word for warrior, and warriors are what you get. It’s one of the largest combat sports promoters in the world and the second-largest in the USA.

This global mixed martial arts and kickboxing organization is managed by promoter Scott Coker and airs in over 160 countries to an audience of more than a billion people.

Where can you watch UFC and Bellator MMA?

Mixed martial arts are big business throughout the world. Televised by many mainstream channels, you can watch a good chunk of the action, but what if they don’t show in your region? Or they only offer a small selection of the fights you want to watch?

The following are the main networks with MMA privileges. Also, we provide our top tip to get around all the PPV problems—finding a provider with all the channels in one place for one subscription.

Which channels stream UFC?

ESPN holds the viewing rights to UFC content, so ESPN+ is a great way to catch the fights. You could choose a standalone subscription to ESPN+ or bundle ESPN in with one of the other cable-cutting packages.

The problem here is with the biggest bouts. The top end of the action is shown via pay-per-view, which comes at a premium price on top of your seemingly good value ESPN+ subs ($5.99 US/month).

But don’t worry, we’ve got a way around that; it includes all the MMA action and at a fraction of the combined subs/PPV costs. DAZN also holds the rights to show all of the UFC content via its German catalogue—without a PPV add-on in sight.

Which channels stream Bellator MMA?

Bellator MMA events are shown on CBS Sports Network; again, a widely available option over a variety of bundles and cable-cutting packages.

Alternatively, Bellator signed with Showtime Sports mid-2020, dedicated to broadcasting live events on Friday nights via Showtime, with bouts from the US and internationally. Sadly, Showtime shows only 2 live events each month over the year. If you already have Showtime as part of an existing package, that could be enough to scratch your MMA itch, but for many, it’s just not going to cut it.

UK viewers can also access streams over BBC iPlayer—another of StreamLocator’s streaming services.

Our best bet, though, is streaming Bellator over DAZN. You can access as many fights as you can handle, this time, via both US and Canadian platforms.

Dodging the MMA PPV bullet

So much of the top UFC MMA programming is fed through pay-per-view.

In the UK, it’s on BT Sport; in Australia, it’s Kayo Sports (an ESPN partner). Canada airs the fights over TSN, and in New Zealand, they’re on Sky Arena. Sadly, the fee for such a privilege can cost you anywhere up to $65 US.

Our No.1 choice for watching the MMA with StreamLocator—DAZN—does away with all of that and for a low monthly subscription.

Streaming the biggest and best MMA using DAZN

DAZN offers a small selection of key territorial platforms, each of them holding their own selective viewing rights for their region. If you want to watch both UFC and Bellator, there’s a fairly simple way to get every fight, wherever you are, without any fuss.

For all you hardcore MMA fans, the simple solution is to register with the Canadian DAZN platform, delivering the Bellator action.

Once signed up, it provides you with an easy way to switch between the Canadian and German catalogues. The German platform, as we said earlier, covers all the UFC content.

Between them, they hold the broadest selection of every kind of sport it seems the world has to offer, including the MMA action you need from UFC and Bellator.

Sign up with DAZN Canada for Bellator. Switch over to DAZN Germany for UFC—all using the same subscription account.

It couldn’t be easier.

Not only will you get all the biggest and best mixed martial arts action, but you’ll also have access to the best in world boxing, European and international soccer, NFL football, Major League Baseball, NBA basketball, and so much more.

In its major territories, DAZN has a pretty low $19.99 US/month subscription. For the rest of the world—around 200 locations—the subscription is a mere $2 or $3 US. Sadly, as much as this looks like the deal of the decade, it's a little flawed. For such vastly reduced subs, you’ll receive little more than the boxing, and depending on where you are, perhaps not all the fights in the calendar.

StreamLocator alternatives for MMA fans around the globe

We’ve got a few alternatives to help you get some of the big bout action using other streaming services. Ladies and gentlemen, our leading fight-night contenders:

  • Fubo TV

So, what do you get from each service, and how much do they cost? We’ll cover those essential aspects to help you decide which is the best route is for you to take.

Streaming MMA on AT&T TV NOW

AT&T TV NOW includes ESPN and CBS Sports alongside its vast selection of entertainment and movie channels.

If you’re an all-round sports addict, the service scores highly in quite a few of our other sports profiles. If you fancy a break from the sport, then you’ll have access to a selection of other big-name channels: ABC, CNN, HBOCBS, Showtime, Cinemax, Disney, MTV, FOX, and more.

However, if it’s good value sports TV that you’re after, the $65 US/month subscription might prevent AT&T TV NOW from being an option, with DAZN providing so much more for so much less.

Streaming MMA on Fubo TV

From $64.99 US/month, Fubo TV offers nowhere near the value DAZN does, but DAZN doesn’t show you the latest TV entertainment, movies, and more from a massive selection of your favourite channels.

Fubo TV offers plenty of other sport as well as MMA. If you want access to plenty of international and European soccer with your box sets, binges, and daily TV entertainment fixes, it could be just what you’re looking for.

Catching the latest UFC and Bellator MMA from your sofa never looked so good
